The Coronus Grav-Carrier is the primary armoured transport vehicle of the Legio Custodes. Thanks to advanced anti-grav technology, it can transport elite warriors rapidly across the battlefield without the limitations of heavy tracked vehicles, while its powerful weaponry provides direct fire support once the passengers have disembarked.

Rapid transport for Custodian Sodalities

The Coronus is designed to bring Custodes units safely and quickly to key positions. Its combination of heavy armour and high mobility makes it particularly suitable for aggressive forces looking to quickly exert pressure on key objectives or enemy lines.

This makes it a natural transport option for Custodian Sodalities and other elite units that need to get to the heart of the battle as quickly as possible.

Twin Arachnus Blaze Cannon

The main armament consists of a turret-mounted twin Arachnus blaze cannon. This ensures that the Coronus remains a valuable fire platform even after offloading its passengers, capable of keeping enemy units under pressure.

For hull-mounted weaponry, there is a choice between a twin Lastrum bolt cannon for engaging infantry and a twin neutronium cascade projector for additional firepower against larger groups of opponents.

Characteristic Custodes technology

The elongated, floating hull clearly distinguishes the Coronus from the tracked vehicles of the Legiones Astartes and Solar Auxilia. Its advanced design aligns directly with other Custodes grav-vehicles such as the Caladius and Pallas.

For painters, the large armour panels offer plenty of space for gold, red, polished metal, and Custodes heraldry. Subtle battle damage, heat discolouration around the weapons, and light weathering can add extra depth to the vehicle without losing its luxurious appearance.
