In the highly organized armies of Grand Cathay, Jade Warriors form the unyielding core of the battle line. Clad in heavy armor and trained to move as one body, these disciplined infantrymen hold their ground where less steadfast troops would break.
Disciplined Battleline Infantry
Jade Warriors are the backbone of a Grand Cathay army in Warhammer: The Old World. They are ideal for holding objectives, absorbing enemy charges, and building a sturdy battle line around which the rest of your army can maneuver.
Choice between shield or halberd
This set offers two distinct playstyles. With hand weapon and shield, you build a defensive unit excellent for holding ground and standing firm. With halberds, you give the unit more offensive punch, making them perform better against more heavily armored opponents.
Flexible unit composition
The 20 Jade Warriors can be built as one large formation or as two smaller units of 10 models. Both options have their own value: a large block of infantry provides stability in the center of your army, while smaller units offer more flexibility for scenarios and flank control.
Command options and variation
The set includes options for a champion, standard bearer, and musician, allowing you to fully equip the unit for use on the battlefield. Thanks to the various heads, topknots, and accessories, you can subtly vary the models, so the unit as a whole looks uniform without becoming boring.
