The Dry Bracken from GamersGrass is a set of laser-cut dry ferns for bases, dioramas, and tabletop terrain. With their brown, withered leaf color, these plants immediately give an autumnal, desolate, or dried-out appearance to your miniatures and scenery. They are ideal for forest floors, ruins, swamps, abandoned paths, and rugged fantasy or historical landscapes.
Dry ferns for bases and terrain
These laser plants are perfect for projects where you want to add more natural undergrowth without a fresh green look. Use them on bases for Warhammer, Age of Sigmar, Middle-earth, Bolt Action, Dungeons & Dragons, or display models to add atmosphere to barren forests, autumn fields, swamp edges, ancient battlefields, and overgrown ruins.
The dry brown tones combine beautifully with dark earth texture, mud, rocks, dry grass, autumn leaves, dead tufts, and weathered wooden details. This makes them particularly suitable for bases with a more realistic, somber, or desolate appearance.
Easy to shape and place
The plants are supplied as laser-cut parts that you carefully remove from the sheet, shape, and attach to your base or terrain piece. By gently bending the fern fronds or placing them in different directions, a more natural, three-dimensional effect quickly emerges.
Use tweezers for precise placement and secure the fronds with a small amount of PVA glue or super glue. For extra realism, you can subtly drybrush, ink, or combine them with green Bracken for more color variation.
