Krautcover Common Earth (Light) is a light earth texture for creating natural bases, terrain, and dioramas. Its neutral sand and soil color provides a versatile base for fantasy, historical miniatures, and realistic landscapes.

Natural light earth

The fine texture is suitable for dry paths, dusty ground, open plains, and light forest floors. Due to its neutral color, Common Earth (Light) easily combines with grass, tufts, stones, pigments, and other basing materials.

You can use the material as a complete base or as a base layer before adding additional scenery.

How to use

Apply basing glue to the base or terrain and sprinkle the material over it. After drying, the base can be further finished with washes, drybrushing, pigments, or additional vegetation.
