The Gate Gargants are colossal city-gargants that serve as living gates for the Castelite formations of the Cities of Sigmar. With enormous gate shields, heavy warmauls, and manned turrets, they form a walking city wall behind which Freeguild soldiers can advance.
A living gate on the battlefield
Where ordinary soldiers rely on discipline and shield walls, Gate Gargants bring sheer mass to the frontline. These colossal brutes each carry half of an enormous gate, using them to absorb enemy charges and protect the troops behind them.
In a Cities of Sigmar army, they feel like a natural focal point for a defensive line. They pair excellently with Steelhelms, Fusiliers, Cavaliers, and other Sigmarite units that want to maneuver under the cover of an imposing, hard-to-ignore threat.
