Citadel Layer – Ushabti Bone (12ml)
Ushabti Bone is a light, warm beige tone from the Citadel Layer paint range. This paint is designed to apply highlights and subtle colour gradations over an existing basecoat. Thanks to its fine pigment structure and smooth coverage, Ushabti Bone is ideal for realistically accentuating bone, ivory, and other light materials without losing detail.
The colour is a widely used highlight in classic Warhammer painting schemes and is often applied to bone structures, skulls, parchments, and other organic details.
Perfect for Bone and Ivory
Citadel Layer paints are designed to be used in thin coats, allowing you to gradually build up colour. Ushabti Bone is particularly suitable for applying lighter accents to bone-coloured basecoats, giving skulls, teeth, horns, and bone armour extra depth and definition.
The warm tone provides a natural appearance that perfectly matches realistic bone and ivory effects.
Versatile Highlight Colour
In addition to bone structures, Ushabti Bone can also be used for parchment, old books, ropes, leather, and other light details on miniatures. Its soft hue makes it an excellent highlight colour for many natural materials.
This paint can also be very useful for basing, such as dry ground, sandy surfaces, or weathered stones.
User-Friendly Hobby Paint
The paint comes in the recognisable Citadel 12ml paint pot and has a consistent formula that works well with a brush. Ushabti Bone can be easily thinned for techniques such as layering, glazing, and edge highlighting.
The paint is part of the Citadel Colour system and combines excellently with other Citadel paints to create realistic colour gradations on miniatures.
