Citadel Layer – Pallid Wych Flesh – 22-58
Citadel Layer: Pallid Wych Flesh is a very light, pale skin and beige tone, ideal for crisp highlights, pale skin layers, and soft accents on organic details. The color is close to off-white but has just enough warmth to appear more natural on skin, bone, fabric, and eerie fantasy effects.
For pale skin and light highlights
As a Layer paint, Pallid Wych Flesh is designed to be painted in a controlled manner over a base coat or previous layer. The paint is highly suitable for lightening skin tones, faces, hands, muscles, scars, claws, skulls, and other fine details where you want a pale but not pure white highlight.
Excellent for horror, undead, and light fabrics
Pallid Wych Flesh pairs perfectly with vampires, zombies, ghouls, cultists, monsters, Aeldari, pale elven skin, and other models with a cold or emaciated appearance. This shade is also very useful for light fabrics, bone details, parchment, teeth, and sharp edge highlights on beige or ivory-colored parts.
Combines beautifully with other skin and beige tones
This color works well as a final light highlight over Flayed One Flesh, Kislev Flesh, Rakarth Flesh, or other pale skin and beige tones. For an extra eerie effect, you can combine it with purple, green, or brown washes in the shadows. Thin the paint slightly and work with multiple thin layers for a smooth, matte result where sculpt details remain sharply visible.
