Citadel Layer – Lothern Blue (12ml)
Lothern Blue is a light, fresh blue shade from the Citadel Layer paint range. This paint is designed to apply bright highlights and subtle colour gradations over an existing basecoat. Thanks to its fine pigment structure and smooth coverage, Lothern Blue is ideal for accentuating edges, raised details, and light energy effects on miniatures.
The colour is often used as a final highlight within blue colour schemes, adding extra contrast and brightness to the tabletop.
Perfect for bright highlights
Citadel Layer paints are developed to be applied in thin coats. Lothern Blue is particularly suitable as a highlight over darker blue tones and can be used to make sharp edges and details more visible.
Due to its lighter colour, this paint helps to create depth and contrast, especially on armour panels, weapons, and decorative elements. With multiple thin layers, you can also build up smooth colour transitions.
Versatile in various paint schemes
Lothern Blue works excellently on power armour, cloaks, shields, and other parts where a bright blue highlight is desired. Its fresh hue also makes the colour highly suitable for magical energy effects, plasma coils, power weapons, or other light glow effects on science fiction miniatures.
