Citadel Layer: Liberator Gold is a light, bright gold metallic paint ideal for sharp highlights, polished accents, and luxurious details on miniatures. This shade works excellent as a final gold highlight over warmer or darker gold colors, adding extra shine to ornaments, armor, and weapons.

For bright gold highlights

As a Layer paint, Liberator Gold is designed to be painted in a controlled manner over a base coat or previous metallic layer. The paint is highly suitable for accentuating gold surfaces without obscuring details. Use it on the edges of armor plates, trim, helmets, shields, weapons, relics, and decorative symbols.

Strong for polished and ceremonial details

Liberator Gold pairs perfectly with Stormcast Eternals, Adeptus Custodes, Space Marines, fantasy heroes, temple guards, royal gear, and richly decorated terrain pieces. With targeted highlights, gold work gains a clean, elevated appearance; with a wash underneath, you can create extra depth and an antique effect.

Combines beautifully with other metallics

This color works excellently as a light highlight over Auric Armour Gold, Gehenna’s Gold, or other warm gold tones. For the sharpest accents, you can further brighten small points with a silvery metallic. Lightly thin the paint and work with multiple thin coats for a smooth metallic finish where sculpt details remain clearly visible.
