Citadel Layer – Knight-Questor Flesh – 22-93
Citadel Layer: Knight-Questor Flesh is a warm, reddish-brown skin tone that is ideal for highlights, natural skin layers, and building vibrant flesh tones on miniatures. The colour has a healthy, slightly rosy undertone and works excellently for faces, hands, muscles, scars, and other organic details.
For warm skin layers and controlled highlights
As a Layer paint, Knight-Questor Flesh is designed to be painted over a base colour or a previous layer. The paint builds up well in thin layers, allowing you to add depth and definition to skin areas without the result becoming too harsh. Use it, for example, on human skin, muscular monsters, bare arms, faces, and other visible skin details.
Strong for heroes, warriors, and fantasy characters
Knight-Questor Flesh is an excellent fit for fantasy heroes, Stormcast Eternals, cultists, barbarians, Astra Militarum, unhelmeted Space Marines, and other models where skin is an important visual detail. The warm tone instantly makes faces more lively and helps to highlight expression, cheekbones, knuckles, and muscles.
Combines well with other skin tones
This colour works well as a highlight over darker skin and brown tones, and can be further brightened with lighter flesh colours such as Kislev Flesh, Flayed One Flesh, or Pallid Wych Flesh. Thin the paint slightly and work with multiple thin layers for a smooth, matte result where sculpt details remain sharply visible.
