As a Layer paint, Gehenna’s Gold is designed to be painted in a controlled manner over a base colour or previous metallic layer. The paint builds up beautifully in thin layers, giving golden surfaces more depth and shine without losing details. Use it on armour, weapons, trim, shields, helmets, relics, and decorative edges.

Strong for fantasy and sci-fi ornaments

Gehenna’s Gold pairs excellently with Stormcast Eternals, Adeptus Custodes, Chaos models, Space Marines, Necrons, fantasy heroes, temple ruins, and richly decorated terrain pieces. With a dark wash, the colour quickly achieves an older, weathered gold result; with targeted highlights, it appears polished and ceremonial.

Beautifully combined with other metallics

This shade works well over darker gold or bronze colours and can be further brightened with lighter metallics like Auric Armour Gold or silvery spot accents. Thin the paint slightly and work with multiple thin layers for a neat metallic finish where sculpt details remain sharply visible.
