Citadel Layer: Dechala Lilac is a light lilac-purple paint that is ideal for highlights, soft blends, and striking accents on miniatures. The color has a bright, cool appearance and works excellently for magical effects, fabrics, skin tones, demons, elves, and models with a mystical or supernatural aura.
For light purple layers and highlights
As a Layer paint, Dechala Lilac is designed to be painted controlledly over a base color or previous layer. The paint builds up well in thin coats, allowing you to give purple surfaces more brightness and definition without losing detail. Use it, for example, on cloaks, robes, skin, scales, runes, weapons, energy effects, and ornate details.
Strong for fantasy, Chaos, and magical accents
Dechala Lilac is an excellent match for Slaanesh models, Aeldari, Tzeentch effects, undead, monsters, spellcasters, and other miniatures with an elegant or unsettling appearance. This color is also very useful for pale alien skin, magical glows, crystals, and soft highlights on purple fabrics.
Blends beautifully with other purple and grey tones
This color works well as a light highlight over darker purple tones or purple-grey colors such as Warpfiend Grey and Slaanesh Grey. For extra sharp accents, you can further lighten it with a light pink, lilac, or off-white hue. Thin the paint slightly and work with multiple thin layers for a smooth, matte result where sculpted details remain beautifully visible.
