Canoptek Alloy is a Citadel Layer metallic paint with a light, warm metallic hue. This color is ideal for applying highlights to metallic surfaces, antique alloys, Necron constructs, weapons, armor details, and mechanical parts.

Designed for layers and accents

Citadel Layer paints are intended to be painted over basecoats. Canoptek Alloy works particularly well over dark metallics such as Leadbelcher, Warplock Bronze, Runelord Brass, or other weathered metal bases. By applying the color to edges and raised details, metallic parts immediately gain more shine and definition.

Strong for Necrons, machines, and antique metal

This color is a perfect match for Necron bodies, Canoptek constructs, gauss weapons, mechanical arms, ornaments, and ancient technology. Canoptek Alloy is also suitable for fantasy miniatures, for ornamental armor, relics, weapons, magical artifacts, and weathered decorative details.

Easy to combine with Shades and weathering

Use Canoptek Alloy after a wash with, for example, Nuln Oil, Agrax Earthshade, or Seraphim Sepia to re-highlight raised metallic areas. The metallic finish also works well with stippling, edge highlights, and light drybrushing techniques for damaged or polished metal.
