Citadel Layer: Brass Scorpion is a warm metallic bronze colour ideal for highlights, layering, and rich metallic accents on miniatures. This paint gives weapons, armour, ornaments, and machine parts a deep copper-bronze look with a distinct fantasy and sci-fi vibe.

For warm metallic layers and accents

As a Layer paint, Brass Scorpion is designed to be painted in a controlled manner over a base colour or a previous metallic layer. The paint works well to add depth and shine to metallic details without over-thickening the surface. For example, use it on armour plates, weapons, shields, trim, engine parts, chains, and relics.

Strong for bronze, copper, and weathered metal

Brass Scorpion is particularly suitable for models with an antique, industrial, or demonic appearance. Think of Chaos miniatures, Adeptus Mechanicus, Stormcast details, Ork machines, steampunk parts, and fantasy ruins. In combination with washes, you can quickly build up an aged, oily, or battle-worn metal result.

Combines beautifully with other metallics

This colour works excellent over darker bronze or copper tones and can be further brightened with lighter metallics such as Sycorax Bronze or Runefang Steel. Thin the paint slightly and work in multiple thin coats for a neat metallic finish where details remain sharp.
