Citadel Dry: Golden Griffon is a light gold drybrush paint specifically designed to quickly apply bright metallic highlights to miniatures. Thanks to its thicker consistency, the paint easily adheres to raised details, quickly giving gold, ornaments, armor, and relief extra shine and definition.

For quick golden highlights

As a Dry paint, Golden Griffon is intended for drybrushing: take a small amount of paint on a dry brush, wipe most of it off, and then lightly brush over the model. The paint primarily catches edges and raised surfaces, giving you a quick, natural highlight effect without having to paint each detail separately.

Excellent for ornaments, relics, and rich metalwork

Golden Griffon is ideal for golden armor pieces, trim, weapons, shields, statues, temple ruins, and fantasy relics. The color works excellently on Stormcast Eternals, Adeptus Custodes, Space Marines, Chaos ornaments, and other models with decorative metallic details.

Useful for speed and texture

This paint particularly excels on models and terrain with a lot of texture, such as relief, chainmail, symbols, basing details, and weathered metal parts. Use it over a dark gold, bronze, or brown undercoat for extra depth, or as a light drybrush over existing metallics for a faster, brighter result.
