Warhammer 40,000 – Chaos Space Marines – Raptors – 43-13
The Chaos Space Marine Raptors are brutal jump pack attackers that descend from the sky to sow panic, confusion, and bloody chaos. Where regular Legionaries hold the line, Raptors strike at weak points: rear objectives, isolated units, and enemies who thought themselves safely out of range.
Fast Attack Troops for Chaos Space Marines
On the battlefield, Raptors are ideal for Chaos players who want to give their army more mobility and threat across the flanks. With their jump packs, they can quickly apply pressure, threaten enemy screens, and hunt down vulnerable support units.
They fit well into aggressive Chaos Space Marine armies that want to overwhelm the opponent with multiple threats simultaneously. While Legionaries, Chosen, Possessed, or Terminators hold the center, Raptors can attack positions where the enemy is less well defended.
Can be built as Raptors or Warp Talons
This kit can be built as 5 Chaos Space Marine Raptors or as 5 Warp Talons. Raptors have a classic terror troop look with jump packs, pistols, melee weapons, and a chaotic, predatory stance.
Warp Talons place an even stronger emphasis on demonic close combat, with claws, mutated armor, and a much grimmer appearance. This makes the box flexible for players who want to expand their Chaos army with fast attack troops or a more daemonic melee element.
Painting fun with jump packs, spikes, and chaotic details
For painters, this kit offers a lot of classic Chaos texture: trims, spikes, helmets, trophy racks, jump packs, demonic details, and weathered power armor. You can paint them in the colors of well-known Legions like Night Lords, Black Legion, Word Bearers, or Emperor's Children, or as your own warband.
Raptors are excellent for dark armor, bright lens colors, heat discoloration on jump packs, blood spatter, damaged ceramite, and bases with ruins, smoke, debris, or industrial platforms. Warp Talons offer additional scope for glowing claws, warp energy, and demonic skin tones.
