The Baal Predator is a specialized Predator variant used almost exclusively by the Blood Angels and their successor Chapters. Where regular Predators often serve as general fire support, the Baal Predator is built for the aggressive, close-range warfare for which the sons of Sanguinius are renowned.
Fast assault tank for Blood Angels
On the battlefield, the Baal Predator is ideal for players who want to give their Blood Angels army extra mobile firepower. It fits perfectly with an army that wants to advance: Assault Intercessors, Death Company, Sanguinary Guard and other assault units can apply pressure while the Baal Predator targets enemy infantry and light targets.
Its role is not to passively stay in the back, but to move with the assault, break open firing lanes, and force opponents to make way for your advancing Blood Angels.
Assault cannon or flamestorm cannon
The kit includes the classic turret options for the Baal Predator: a twin assault cannon for high rate of fire or a flamestorm cannon for brutal close-range pressure. Additionally, the vehicle can be equipped with heavy bolter or heavy flamer sponsons.
This allows you to build the tank as a mobile dakka platform that mows down infantry, or as an aggressive flame tank that burns enemies out of cover. The included Blood Angels icons and tank commander options clearly give the model its Chapter identity.
