Warhammer 40,000 – Astra Militarum – Hippogriff AFV – 47-57
The Hippogriff AFV is a fast armored reconnaissance and fire support vehicle for the Astra Militarum. Where heavy tanks like the Rogal Dorn and Leman Russ dominate the front line, the Hippogriff uses speed, maneuverability, and flexible weaponry to plug gaps in the line, provide flanking pressure, and engage enemies from unexpected angles.
Mobile Fire Support for Astra Militarum
On the battlefield, the Hippogriff is ideal for players who want to give their Astra Militarum army more speed and responsiveness. This vehicle is lighter than the large battle tanks, but compensates with mobility and a versatile turret loadout.
It pairs well with combined Imperial Guard armies featuring infantry, tanks, Sentinels, and artillery. Use it as an escort vehicle, fast flank unit, reconnaissance vehicle, or a compact fire support unit that threatens objectives and pressures enemy units.
Flexible Turret Weapon Options
The kit includes multiple weapon options for the turret, including a vigilator cannon, chiron gatling cannon, melta cannon, and heavy lascannon. Additionally, there are coaxial options such as a heavy stubber or meltagun.
