GamersGrass' Alien Fern is a set of laser-cut alien ferns for bases, dioramas, and tabletop terrain. With their long, feathery leaves and striking alien coloring, these plants instantly give your miniatures and scenery an exotic, toxic, and sci-fi look.
Alien ferns for bases and terrain
These laser plants are ideal for projects where you want to create a xenos environment that clearly doesn't feel earthly. Use them on bases for Warhammer 40,000, Kill Team, Necromunda, Stargrave, T'au, Tyranids, Kroot, Necrons, Dungeons & Dragons, or display models to add atmosphere to alien jungles, toxic swamps, strange ruins, and research stations.
The blue-green and warm tones combine strongly with dark earth, purple soil, Martian soil, crystals, alien tufts, water effects, and glow effects. This way, you quickly create a world where the flora looks just as dangerous as the enemy.
Easy to shape and place
The plants come as laser-cut parts that you carefully remove from the sheet, shape, and attach to your base or terrain piece. By slightly bending the fern leaves or placing them in different directions, a more natural, three-dimensional effect quickly emerges.
Use tweezers for precise placement and secure the leaves with a small amount of PVA glue or super glue. For an extra effect, you can subtly highlight, ink, or add glossy accents to the plants to enhance a wet, toxic, or alien appearance.
Versatile for xenos jungles and toxic worlds
Alien Fern is excellent for Tyranid invasion worlds, Kroot hunting grounds, overgrown Necron ruins, toxic swamps, magical forests, and alien RPG locations. They are also very suitable for visually tying an army together with recurring alien plant details.
