The Fengda AS-186 is a compact airbrush compressor with an air tank, ideal for miniature painters, model builders, and hobbyists who want controlled spraying without immediately resorting to a large workshop compressor. Thanks to its 3-liter tank, it delivers a more stable airflow than tankless entry-level compressors, which is especially beneficial for primer, basecoats, zenithal highlights, and fine airbrush layers.

Consistent air pressure is important for painting miniatures. The built-in air tank helps reduce pulsation, allowing for smoother work with thin paint layers, glazes, pre-shading, and camouflage effects.

The AS-186 is an oil-free piston compressor. This means less maintenance and no risk of oil in your airflow. With a noise level of approximately 47 dB at 1 meter, it is relatively quiet for home use, for example, at a hobby desk or in a small workspace.

The automatic start/stop function ensures that the compressor stops when the tank pressure is high enough and restarts as soon as the pressure drops. This makes working more pleasant and helps relieve the motor during longer airbrushing sessions.
