Adeptus Custodes - Combat Patrol

Adeptus Custodes – Combat Patrol: Adeptus Custodes – 73-012

Combat Patrol: Adeptus Custodes forms a compact yet exceptionally powerful force of the Emperor’s personal bodyguards. The set combines elite infantry, fast Venatari, and a heavy Custodian Dreadnought led by a Shield-Captain, providing you with a varied core for an Adeptus Custodes army right away.

Elite force of the Ten Thousand

The Adeptus Custodes do not rely on large numbers. Every warrior is an exceptionally strong and heavily armored fighter designed to engage enemy elite units head-on.

This Combat Patrol contains six Sentinel Guard as a sturdy infantry core, while the Shield-Captain leads the force. This gives you a small but highly characterful force that fits well with the elite playstyle of the Custodes.

Venatari for speed and mobility

Three Venatari add an important mobile element to the force. Their rapid deployment makes them suitable for threatening flanks, reaching key positions, and supporting the heavier Custodian infantry.

This allows the set to combine the characteristic durability of the Adeptus Custodes with a unit that can move across the battlefield more quickly.

Custodian Dreadnought with two build options

Heavy support is provided by a Custodian Dreadnought. This can be built as either a Contemptor-Achillus or Contemptor-Galatus, allowing you to choose which version best suits the look and composition of your army.

The imposing Dreadnought also serves as a strong centerpiece and offers plenty of room for gold armor, weathered metal, energy weapon effects, and intricate Custodes heraldry.

Strong foundation for an Adeptus Custodes army

With a commander, heavy infantry, fast flying warriors, and a Dreadnought, this Combat Patrol contains several unit types in one box. The set is therefore suitable for starting with Adeptus Custodes, but also forms a practical expansion for an existing collection.
