In War of the Elements, the war between the Elemi finally reaches the shores of Tharador. While the Elemi War of Reclamation is stalled in the distant Abunen Kolden, an enemy Edradori Elemi force unexpectedly strikes at the peaceful southern coast. A small coastal town is devastated, and with most defenders far from home, an improvised group of heroes, soldiers, and volunteers must try to stem the invasion.
A starter campaign full of elemental fantasy
This 5E campaign forms the first part of The Rupture saga and is designed for characters from level 1 to 3. The adventure is ideal as a starting point for a new group or as a short campaign within an existing Dungeons & Dragons 5E world.
The atmosphere revolves around elemental magic, the threat of war, coastal defense, and the culture of the Elemi: elemental-infused peoples with strong religious and political tensions. The heroes are not portrayed as passive spectators, but as part of a hastily assembled defense force that must act before the invasion gets further out of hand.
Religion, war, and rival incarnations
Central to the conflict are two powerful religious figures. On Tharador's side stands Kitarlia of Tenger, the Incarnate, a significant spiritual leader. Opposing her is Andrazia, a young general who declares herself the true Incarnation of Maethromin, the God of Elements.
This makes War of the Elements more than just a series of battles against invaders. For Dungeon Masters, the adventure offers scope for doubts of faith, propaganda, military pressure, and the question of who truly speaks for the elements. For players, this means their choices can affect more than just the next encounter.

War of the Elements is built for approximately 3 to 6+ play sessions and combines exploration, roleplay, and tactical combat. The campaign includes material around the city of Szeles, skirmishes against invading Elemi, and enough extras to quickly bring the region to life at the table.
The included statblocks, battlemaps, and magic items make it easy to keep encounters for low-level characters varied and dangerous, without the Dungeon Master having to prepare everything from scratch.
New player option: Gunslinger Fighter
In addition to the main adventure, this campaign includes the new Gunslinger Fighter subclass. This subclass is well-suited for players who want to play a sharpshooter with firearms, precision, and a rougher battlefield presence. Within a world full of elemental magic, the Gunslinger feels like a striking, modern force on the battlefield: someone who brings change with lead, steel, and cool mastery.
