In Crimson Masquerade, the heroes are invited to an extravagant masquerade at Castle Beaufax, hosted by the mysterious Baroness Noctra. On the tenth anniversary of her return to the castle, she gathers nobles, travelers, and influential guests under the light of the first full moon of autumn. But behind the ornate masks, music, and courteous conversations hides a much darker feast.

A gothic 5E adventure full of intrigue and vampiric horror

This 5E campaign is the first part of The Red Autumn and is designed for characters of level 4 to 5. The adventure combines social tension, investigation, hidden threats, and bloody revelations in a setting perfect for groups who enjoy gothic fantasy, vampires, noble secrets, and dangerous parties.

The heroes enter Castle Beaufax as guests, but it soon becomes clear that not everyone is who they seem. The masquerade is more than just a party: it's a trap, carefully set by Noctra and her denizens. Once the true nature of the evening is revealed, escaping may no longer be so easy.

Strong campaign content for Dungeon Masters

Crimson Masquerade offers Dungeon Masters an atmospheric adventure centered on pace, tension, and revelation. The campaign is ideal for sessions where roleplay and exploration are just as important as combat. New player option: Maestro Bard

In addition to the main adventure, Crimson Masquerade includes the new Maestro Bard subclass. This subclass perfectly fits the theme of music, rhythm, and performance: a bard who treats the battlefield as a composition, conducts allies and enemies, and exerts their influence with a conductor's baton. A stylish choice for players who want to combine theatrical flair with tactical support.

This 5E campaign includes a 110-page campaign PDF for characters of level 4–5. The adventure is designed for approximately 3 to 6+ play sessions, depending on play style, group size, and how much time players spend on roleplay, investigation, and side quests.

Additionally, the campaign includes extra play material such as an A2 printable map of the kingdom Greypeak, 2 original battlemaps of Castle Beaufax in A0 format with A4 splits for home printing, 14 original statblocks, 21 magic items, 3 premade character sheets, and the new Maestro Bard subclass.
