DM Stash – 5E Campaign: The Last War Pt III – Battle of the Three Kings
In Battle of the Three Kings, the Liturium War reaches its decisive moment. After years of bloody conflict, the Coalition forces have fought their way deep into Leacianus, the homeland of the High Elves. Ahead of them lies Nirloom, the enormous multi-layered capital of the High Elven Triarchy. The city is under siege, but the war is far from won.
Within the walls, the rulers of Leacianus are preparing a desperate weapon: Vavanasai, the Icebringer. If this plan succeeds, not only could the Coalition army be destroyed, but surrounding lands like Belfrie and Formen also risk being engulfed in an eternal winter.
An epic 5E finale for The Last War
This 5E campaign forms the third part of The Last War and is designed for characters from levels 9 to 11. The adventure brings players to the heart of a besieged elven capital, where military pressure, arcane threats, and political desperation converge in a large-scale finale.
Battle of the Three Kings is ideal for groups who enjoy high fantasy warfare, sieges, tactical missions, and a clear end threat. The heroes must not only survive in a city full of enemies but also prevent the High Elves from deploying their last, catastrophic trump card.
The siege of Nirloom
Nirloom is no ordinary city, but the flying capital of the High Elven Triarchy of Leacianus. The campaign takes place during a massive assault on this impressive metropolis, with room for street fights, infiltration, side quests, and decisions that can change the course of the battle.
For Dungeon Masters, this adventure offers a strong mix of action and structure. The included city maps, battle maps, and additional objectives make it easy to make the siege feel alive: players don't just fight encounter after encounter but actively participate in a larger military offensive.
New player option: Arcane Spellblade Sorcerer
In addition to the main adventure, Battle of the Three Kings includes the new Arcane Spellblade Sorcerer subclass. This subclass combines martial flair with pure arcane power, where the sorcerer uses an Arcane Weapon and manipulates the magical energy around them.
This makes the subclass an excellent choice for players who want to play an aggressive, combat-oriented spellcaster: someone who not only casts spells from the back but also belongs in the middle of the chaos of the battlefield.
