DM Stash – 5E Campaign: Hell at Heaven’s Gate

In Hell at Heaven’s Gate, the heroes awaken in the dark void, their mortal story having abruptly ended. But instead of finding peace in the afterlife, they discover that Syelden, the Endless End has been invaded. The afterlife of Tharador, normally an infinite collection of planes for the souls of the dead, is slowly being torn open by demonic forces.

The followers of the Tharameni and their celestial protectors try to hold their ground, but the rot of Idinhelieth, harbinger of disease and pestilence, threatens to corrupt even the purest parts of the afterlife. If the heroes fail, the eternal rest of countless souls will turn into a hellish nightmare.

A celestial and infernal 5E adventure

This 5E campaign is Divine Gambit Pt III and is designed for characters from level 8 to 9. The adventure takes the party to a setting that feels grander than the mortal world: a broken afterlife, celestial bastions, demonic invasions, and survivors who refuse to give up their eternity.

Hell at Heaven’s Gate is ideal for groups who love divine fantasy, cosmic warfare, angels, demons, undead, and high moral stakes. This is no ordinary dungeon crawl, but a battle for the foundations of the afterlife.

Syelden, the Endless End, under siege

Syelden consists of infinite planes, each formed around the souls that belong there. This is precisely why the threat of Mindoriel’s Spawn feels so great: they are not just invading a city or kingdom, but a spiritual reality that is significant to all of Tharador.

For Dungeon Masters, this campaign offers ample room for dramatic scenes: survivors gathering in a shattered heavenly realm, fighting alongside celestial defenders, closing demonic gates, and descending into areas where disease, pestilence, and abyssal corruption destroy the order of the afterlife.

New player option: Fated Rogue

In addition to the main adventure, Hell at Heaven’s Gate includes the new Fated Rogue subclass. This rogue pledges allegiance to Namneri and becomes an omen of death: a figure who moves between life, death, and fate.

With an incorporeal form, deadly precision, and the thematic Scalpel of Fate, this subclass perfectly suits players who want to play a mysterious, supernatural rogue. The Fated Rogue is also highly usable outside of this campaign in adventures revolving around prophecy, mortality, revenge, or the afterlife.

Contents of the set

This 5E campaign includes a 106-page campaign PDF for characters from level 8–9. The adventure is designed for approximately 3 to 6+ play sessions, depending on playstyle, group size, and how much room the Dungeon Master allows for roleplay, exploration, and dramatic confrontations.

In addition, the campaign includes extra game materials such as an A2 printable regional map of the continent Tharador, 12 original battlemaps in A1-A3 format, 18 original statblocks, 21 magic items, and 3 premade character sheets with backstories.

Please note: this product concerns the 5E campaign content. Miniatures, terrain, dice, and physical accessories are not included unless otherwise indicated for the product variant.
