DM Stash – 5E Campaign: Finders Keepers
In Finders Keepers, the village of Nörrgus vanishes under mysterious circumstances. Footprints abruptly stop in the mud, houses stand empty, and an unnatural silence hangs among the trees. While the local jarl seeks adventurers to find the missing villagers, the Feywalkers also notice that something is amiss in the Spotless Wood. Wild magic leaks through the boundaries between worlds, and the creatures of the Fey are behaving increasingly strangely.
A 5E adventure full of Fey mystery and vanishing villages
This 5E campaign is designed for characters from level 3 to 5 and offers enough material for approximately 3 to 6+ play sessions. The adventure begins as an investigation into a vanished village, but quickly escalates into a story where the mortal world and the realm of the Fey inevitably collide.
Finders Keepers is ideal for groups who enjoy fairy-tale mystery, enchanted forests, unpredictable magic, and morally ambiguous encounters. Not everything in the Fey is evil, but little is completely safe. Dungeon Masters will find a strong foundation for a campaign that seamlessly blends investigation, roleplaying, exploration, and magical threat.
The Spotless Wood and the world of the Fey
The core of the adventure lies in the Spotless Wood, a forest where the normal rules of the world become increasingly thin. The heroes must uncover what happened to Nörrgus, cooperate with mysterious Feywalkers, and ultimately delve deeper into an invisible world full of strange allies, dangerous creatures, and wild magic.
For Dungeon Masters, this campaign offers ample opportunity to build atmosphere: deserted streets, whispering trees, twisted tracks, enchanted clearings, and encounters where social choices can be just as important as sword and spell.
New player options: Feywalker Druid and Trickblade Rogue
In addition to the main adventure, Finders Keepers includes two new subclasses: the Feywalker Druid and the Trickblade Rogue. These options perfectly align with the theme of Fey magic, cunning, natural power, and supernatural mobility.
The Feywalker Druid is perfect for players who want to explore a deep connection with the Fey realm and wild nature, while the Trickblade Rogue is a stylish choice for those who want to combine speed, deception, and magical flair in one agile adventurer.
