In the kingdom of Baldur, oppressed citizens revolt against their noble rulers, while the brilliant inventor Tomas Lumens covertly fuels an increasingly dangerous revolution. What began as a noble ideal threatens to devolve into bloodshed, sabotage, and mechanical terror.

A 5E adventure full of steampunk, intrigue, and revolution

This 5E campaign is designed for characters of level 3 to 4 and offers enough material for approximately 3 to 6+ game sessions. The setting has a clear Victorian-inspired fantasy atmosphere, with class struggle, political tension, inventor guilds, inquisitors, and the threat of automata that could change the balance of power.

Cogs of Revolution is ideal for groups who enjoy investigation, moral dilemmas, and action in a city where no one is entirely innocent. The rebels fight against real oppression, but their methods are becoming increasingly violent. It is up to the Dungeon Master to place the players in the midst of that tension.

For combat, the campaign offers plenty of scope for clockwork constructs, rebels, alchemical experiments, and dangerous encounters in streets, workshops, sewers, and industrial locations.

New Player Option: Chemforged Barbarian

In addition to the main adventure, Cogs of Revolution includes the new Chemforged Barbarian subclass. This subclass perfectly fits the industrial and alchemical theme of the campaign: a barbarian whose rage is amplified by chemical agents and body-altering enhancers. A strong choice for players who want to combine brute force with a raw, experimental steampunk atmosphere.

This 5E campaign includes a 112-page campaign PDF for characters of level 3–4. The adventure is designed for approximately 3 to 6+ sessions, depending on play style, group size, and how much room the Dungeon Master allows for investigation, roleplay, and side quests.

In addition, the campaign includes extra game material such as an A2 printable map of the kingdom of Baldur, 6 original battle maps in A1-A2 format, 14 original statblocks, and 3 premade character sheets with backstories.
