AK Interactive 3GEN Violet Red is a deep reddish-purple acrylic paint from the 3rd Generation Acrylics series. The color is ideal for rich fantasy and sci-fi color schemes, fabrics, armor, heraldry, and organic details.

Deep Red-Violet Hue

Violet Red works excellently as a base color for wine red, magenta, and purple color schemes. The hue is also very useful for shadows on red, for alien skin, and for decorative details that need more depth than standard red.

The matte finish and high pigment concentration ensure even coverage and good brush control.

Usage

Apply the paint in multiple thin layers for a smooth result. For highlights, Violet Red can be combined with Magenta, Pink, or lighter red shades, while Deep Purple is suitable for extra deep shadows.
