AK Interactive 3GEN Tan Yellow is a warm yellow-brown acrylic paint from the 3rd Generation Acrylics series. The color is ideal for sand, leather, dry earth, uniforms, and weathered surfaces on miniatures, vehicles, and dioramas.

Warm yellow-brown hue

Tan Yellow works excellently as a base color for dry landscapes, canvas, light leather parts, and sand-colored armor. The hue also forms a good transition between brown, ochre, and yellow, making it very useful within military and historical color schemes.

The matte finish and high pigment concentration ensure even coverage and good control with the brush.

Usage

Apply the paint in multiple thin layers for a smooth result. Combine Tan Yellow with lighter sand or yellow tones for highlights and with brown or ochre for deeper shadows.
