AK Interactive 3GEN Rubber Black is a very dark black-grey acrylic paint from the 3rd Generation Acrylics series. The color is especially suitable for rubber, tires, and other surfaces that need to look dark without becoming completely black.

Ideal for tires and technical details

Rubber Black works excellently for vehicle tires, rubber hoses, grips, gaskets, shoes, and technical parts. The slightly lighter shade than pure black ensures that details remain more visible and makes highlights easier to build up.

The color is also usable as a deep base tone for dark armor and sci-fi color schemes.

Usage

Apply the paint in multiple thin layers for a smooth result. For highlights, you can mix Rubber Black with a lighter grey tone, while pure Black is suitable for enhancing the deepest shadows.
