AK Interactive 3GEN Oily Steel – Metallic is a dark steel-gray acrylic paint with a slightly warm, used appearance. The color is ideal for weapons, machinery, engine parts, armor, and other metal details that need to look less clean and polished.

Dark used steel finish

Oily Steel works excellently for metal that needs an oily, industrial, or worn look. This makes the color particularly useful for machine parts, guns, chains, gears, and grimdark sci-fi details.

The fine metallic pigmentation helps create an even and convincing metallic finish.

Usage

Apply Oily Steel in multiple thin layers for even coverage. Combine the color with Natural Steel, Aluminium, or Silver for highlights and with black, dark brown, or Burnt Tin for deeper shadows and weathering.
