AK Interactive 3GEN Gun Metal – Metallic is a dark steel grey acrylic paint from the 3rd Generation Acrylics series. The colour is ideal for firearms, weapons, machinery, armour and other metal parts that require a dark, industrial finish.
Dark gunmetal finish
Gun Metal works excellent as a base colour for rifles, knives, mechanical parts, chains and sci-fi weapons. The dark metallic tone provides more depth than bright steel and forms a strong basis for highlights and weathering.
The fine metallic pigmentation helps to build an even and convincing metallic finish.
Usage
Apply Gun Metal in multiple thin layers for an even coverage. Combine the colour with Natural Steel, Aluminium or Silver for highlights and with black, Oily Steel or dark brown for deeper shadows and weathering.
