3gen - Matte Medium - 18ml

AK Interactive – 3GEN: Matte Medium – AK11234

AK Interactive 3GEN Matte Medium is a transparent acrylic medium that allows you to reduce the gloss of paint and thin colors without unnecessarily weakening the binder structure. It is ideal for miniatures, vehicles, and dioramas where a matte finish is desired.

Matte finish and more control

Matte Medium can be mixed with 3GEN acrylic paints to lower the gloss level and make the paint slightly more transparent and fluid. This is especially useful for layering, soft color filters, and larger surfaces where you want to maintain a uniform matte appearance.

The medium changes the color less drastically than thinning with water alone and helps keep the paint more controllable.

Usage

Mix a small amount of Matte Medium into the desired 3GEN color and adjust the ratio according to the desired effect. Generally, the more medium you add, the more transparent and matte the paint layer becomes.
