AK Interactive 3GEN Imperial Blue is a deep, powerful blue hue from the 3rd Generation Acrylics series. The color is ideal for fantasy and sci-fi miniatures, armor, fabrics, uniforms, and rich blue color schemes.

Deep Saturated Blue Hue

Imperial Blue works excellent as a base color for dark blue surfaces and as a shadow tone under lighter blues. The rich color is particularly suitable for striking armor, clothing, heraldry, and decorative details.

The shade combines easily with lighter blues for highlights and with dark blue, violet, or black for added depth.

Usage

Apply Imperial Blue in multiple thin layers for an even result. Combine the color with Ultramarine Blue, Sky Blue, or Snow Blue for highlights and with Dark Blue-Grey or black for deeper shadows.
