AK Interactive 3GEN Hull Red is a deep reddish-brown acrylic paint from the 3rd Generation Acrylics series. The color is ideal for ship hulls, rusty surfaces, dark red armor, and weathered metal parts on miniatures, vehicles, and dioramas.
Deep reddish-brown base color
Hull Red works excellently as a base color for ship hulls and as a shadow tone under lighter red and rust colors. The dark warm tone is also very useful for leather, industrial surfaces, and grimdark color schemes.
The matte finish and high pigment concentration ensure even coverage and good brush control.
Usage
Apply the paint in multiple thin layers for a smooth finish. Combine Hull Red with Dark Rust, Medium Rust, or lighter red shades for weathered effects and extra color variation.
