AK Interactive 3GEN Graphite is a very dark grey from the 3rd Generation Acrylics series. This colour is a strong alternative to pure black and is ideal for miniatures, vehicles and dioramas where you want to paint deep shadows and dark technical surfaces.

Dark graphite shade

Graphite works well for weapons, armour, rubber, machinery, uniforms, and industrial details. Because the colour is slightly softer than black, it leaves more room for adding extra shadows or contrast later.

The paint has a matte finish and a high pigment concentration for even coverage and good brush control.

Usage

Apply the paint in multiple thin layers for a clean result. For blends, shadows, and detail work, the paint can be thinned with water or a suitable acrylic thinner.
