3gen - Gloss Medium - 18ml

AK Interactive – 3GEN: Gloss Medium – AK11235

AK Interactive 3GEN Gloss Medium is a transparent acrylic medium that allows you to increase the gloss of 3GEN paint. It is ideal for wet surfaces, lenses, slime, lacquer work, and other details that require a glossy finish.

More gloss and transparency

Gloss Medium can be mixed with regular acrylic paint to increase the gloss level and make the color more transparent. This makes it also useful for glazes, glossy color filters, and layers where you want to create more depth without immediately using a separate varnish.

The medium is especially useful for miniature painters who want to create local differences between matte and glossy materials.

Use

Mix a small amount of Gloss Medium into the desired 3GEN color and adjust the ratio to the desired effect. Generally, the more medium you add, the more transparent and glossy the paint layer becomes.
