AK Interactive 3GEN Dark Sea Blue is a deep, cool blue-grey hue from the 3rd Generation Acrylics series. The color is ideal for maritime models, military vehicles, aircraft, sci-fi armor, and dark shaded areas.

Deep Maritime Blue Hue

Dark Sea Blue works excellent as a base color for dark navy and aviation schemes and as a shadow tone under lighter blue-grey colors. Its subdued appearance also makes the paint very useful for industrial surfaces and weathered models.

The color offers great depth without appearing as harsh as pure black.

Usage

Apply Dark Sea Blue in multiple thin layers for an even result. Combine the color with Grey-Blue, Intermediate Blue, or Pale Blue for highlights and with Strong Dark Blue, Anthracite Grey, or black for deeper shadows.
