AK Interactive 3GEN Dark Sand is a warm, medium-light sand color from the 3rd Generation Acrylics series. This shade is very suitable for miniatures, vehicles, and dioramas where you want to paint dry, dusty, or desert-like surfaces.
Warm sand color for bases and vehicles
Dark Sand works well for desert bases, sand-colored armor parts, uniforms, canvas, terrain, and weathered surfaces. The color is also suitable as a mid-tone between darker browns and lighter colors such as Buff or Pale Sand.
The matte finish and high pigment concentration ensure even coverage and good control with the brush.
Usage
Apply the paint in multiple thin layers for a smooth result. For blends, highlights, and subtle color gradients, the paint can be thinned with water or suitable acrylic thinner.
