3gen - Chipping Effect - 18ml

AK Interactive – 3GEN: Chipping Effect – AK11262

AK Interactive 3GEN Chipping Effect is a special effect medium for creating realistic paint chipping and wear on vehicles, armor, machinery, and scenery. Ideal for military modeling, sci-fi, and grimdark projects where surfaces need to look visibly used and weathered.

Realistic paint damage

With Chipping Effect, you can create controlled damage that reveals an underlying color, primer, or metallic tone. This works particularly well on edges, hatches, treads, and other areas where natural wear would occur.

How to use

First, apply the base color and let it dry. Then apply Chipping Effect, followed by the desired top coat. Once this layer has dried sufficiently, you can use water and a brush to work away parts of the top layer of paint to create natural-looking chips and scratches.
