AK Interactive 3GEN Cadmium Red is a powerful, warm red tone from the 3rd Generation Acrylics series. The color is ideal for miniatures, vehicles, and dioramas where you want to use a saturated red base color or a striking mid-tone.

Warm Saturated Red Tone

Cadmium Red works excellently for armor, fabrics, heraldry, vehicles, and decorative details. The color is bright enough for striking schemes, yet deep enough to function as a strong base color.

The matte finish and high pigment concentration ensure even coverage and good brush control.

Usage

Apply the paint in multiple thin layers for a smooth result. Combine Cadmium Red with lighter red or orange tones for highlights and with Ruby, Dead Red, or brown for deeper shadows.
