AK Interactive 3GEN Basalt Grey is a dark, cool grey from the 3rd Generation Acrylics series. The colour is ideal for miniatures, vehicles, and dioramas where you want to paint deep stone, industrial, or military surfaces.

Dark Cool Grey

Basalt Grey works well for armour, rocks, concrete, weapons, vehicles, and urban terrain. The colour also forms a strong base tone for lighter grey highlights and weathered effects.

The paint has a matte finish and a high pigment concentration for even coverage and good brush control.

Usage

Apply the paint in multiple thin layers for a clean result. For blends, shadows, and detail work, the paint can be thinned with water or suitable acrylic thinner.
