AK Interactive 3GEN Ash Grey is a dark ash grey acrylic paint from the 3rd Generation Acrylics series. The colour is suitable for military models, vehicles, miniatures and dioramas where a deep, cool grey tone is desired.

Dark grey tone for armour and camouflage

Ash Grey works excellent for armour, vehicles, aircraft, weapons and industrial surfaces. The colour corresponds to FS 36081 and can be used for military camouflage and dark vehicle colour schemes, among other applications.

Within grey colour modulation, Ash Grey can serve well as a base colour, after which lighter greys are used to build up volume and highlights.

Usage

Apply the paint in multiple thin layers for a smooth result. For blends, highlights and detail work, the paint can be thinned with water or suitable acrylic thinner.
