Trench Crusade
Miniatures, Lore & Warbands
Welcome to the dark world of Trench Crusade – a grimdark setting where trench warfare, the occult, and bizarre technology collide. On this page, you'll find everything you need to get started: background information, factions, rules, and, of course, our selection of miniatures.
-
Official STLsWe offer the option of having official Trench Crusade STLs printed by us. You purchase the STL files yourself, and we'll then produce them in high quality on our resin printers. You can request this through our Print Service.
-
We keep all official Trench Crusade plastic kits in stock as much as possible. The sets are produced by Archon Studio, with whom we have a reliable supply. New releases appear approximately every 1–2 months, and we pre-order them immediately so you can order them from us as soon as possible.
-
We hold sales licenses from several third-party designers. This allows us to offer a wide selection of alternative miniatures that perfectly fit the Trench Crusade style. Because the game is not required to use official models—even at tournaments—you have plenty of choices for every warband or faction.
What is Trench Crusade?
Imagine an alternate version of World War I… only completely derailed. In Trench Crusade, a centuries-old crusade has gone horribly wrong, leaving the world torn between fanatical religious orders, doomed armies, and war machines that resemble nightmares more than technology. The battlefield is a mix of trenches, holy relics, industrial horror, and demonic influence; raw, gritty, and delightfully grimdark.
The universe is roughly divided between the Faithful , which includes the Principality of New Antioch and the Iron Sultanate , and the dark forces of The Fallen : wicked cults, heretic legions, and anything warped by war, or by Hell. Each faction has its own distinct atmosphere and background, making your warband a true piece of storytelling on the tabletop.
As a tabletop game, Trench Crusade is a skirmish game : small groups of warriors, tactical choices, and short, brutal battles. And the best part? The game is miniature-agnostic . You can use official models, third-party alternatives, or your own conversions. As long as it's grimdark and suits your warband, you're completely free to play your style.
The Faithfull
-
Principality of New Antioch
The stronghold of faith—an international coalition of Christian armies, the "human defense" against demons. Defense, combined arms, discipline, and versatility are key.
-
Iron Sultanate
Islamic-inspired “wall & rifles / alchemy” faction: powerful firearms, mobile combat, and exotic magic/techniques — good for shooting and surprise attacks.
-
Trench Pilgrims
Fanatical “soldiers of faith and devotion” — often irregular guerrilla-style warfare, focusing on close combat, survival, and improvisation.
The Fallen
-
Heretic Legions
Heretic “human-or-human-plus” armies and human allies of Hell — flexible, often nasty, with a mix of shooting and brutal melee + special “twisted” troops.
-
Cult of the Black Grail
Demonic/Corrupt Faction — Infection, disease, destruction, “horror tactics”: creepy troops, infernal weapons, and unconventional violence.
-
Court of the Seven-Headed Serpent
The “completed demons” / true hell-goers — cunning, dangerous, grotesque enemies with their own rules; meant for those who want to play the darkest side.
